In Madurai on 18th December 2022.

MADURAI: To safeguard the individual rights of minorities, the Minorities Rights Day was observed and celebrated in Madurai today- on December 18th 2022.

At a special event organized in the American College campus in Madurai today, the message on minority rights in India was sent out from this function which was attended by Tamil Nadu Finance and Human Resource Development Minister Mr. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Minister for Minorities Welfare Mr..K.S. Masthan and Social Justice Minister/ Women’s empowerment Mrs.Geetha Jeevan, Tamil Nadu Minorities Commission chairman Mr.S. Peter Alphonse were among those present at the Minority Rights Day celebrated in Madurai today- on December 18th 2022- which stresses on equal opportunities, individual rights of religion, linguistic etc.
